Fees

Two 19th century percussion cap pistols, both lacking firing mechanism, with chequered and rounded hardwood stocks extending to octagonal steel barrels, 41cm and 39cm long (at fault) (2)

More Information

Both pistols are lacking ramrods. One lacks its trigger and hammer and has a plain barrel with no visible engraving. The other lacks its trigger guard and has a seized firing mechanism. The barrel and lock mechanism both show some worn engraving, but no proof marks. The interiors of both barrels show corrosion, making it hard to determine if the barrels are rifled.
