More Information

Overall condition is good.

Mirror is in good order, no chips or cracks. The mirror is very dirty beneath the glass, and would require cleaning (please refer the the final photo for a picture of the mirror). There is slight damage to the rope twist border around the mirror, which is slightly bent in areas or has slipped beneath the rim of the cover. There is general scratching and wear to the interior, and there appears to be later amateur engravings to the inside lip, reading '100 AW AM'. The hinged covers of the compartments open and close smoothly and correctly. Moderate to heavy denting to the exterior, concentrated to the corners and borders. Moderate to heavy scratching and wear to the exterior consistent with regular use. Cover opens and closes smoothly and securely. Hallmarks are clear.
