A George V silver and guilloche enamel fifteen piece dressing table set by Albert Carter, Birmingham 1931-32, comprising mirror, two hairbrushes, two clothes brushes, powder pot, shoe horn, button hook and bedside timepiece, manicure set and two dressing table pots, all with blue guilloche enamel decoration, together with a matched cut glass silver and enamel perfume atomiser (16)

Overall condition is fair. Enamel loss varies across pieces - the majority have no loss, or little losses or small cracks around the borders, however the powder pot and atomiser have large areas of loss. All pieces show minor to heavy signs of wear, denting and discoloration. Please see additional images of items with the most significant areas of damage.

Of note:

Powder pot has a large chip to the rim of the opening. Large chip to the enamel cover (pictured).

Atomiser: Very heavy wear and loss to enamel on the cover. Glass in good order and mechanism operating smoothly.

Boxed set: Nail file to the cased grooming kit had a broken blade. All files show heavy wear to their gilt. Heavy wear to the case exterior.

Clock: Crack to the enamel at six o clock. Moderate wear to the in fill of the numbers. Easel stand is slightly bent, but the clock does sit flat on a level surface.

Shoehorn: Heavy rusting and wear to the blade of the shoehorn.
