A pink stone and diamond cluster ring, comprising a central untested oval mixed cut stone (probably a pink sapphire) measuring 8mm x 6.5mm, with a surround of twelve round brilliant cut diamonds, all claw set in 18ct gold to split scrolling shoulders and plain polished shank, ring size N 1/2, weight 5.6gms

More Information

Overall condition is good. Central stone is untested. Stone is in good condition, small chips to facet edges, large chip to the girdle, general scratching and wear. All diamonds are present and in tact. All settings are in tact, claws are secure. No thinning, splitting or resizing to shank. General scratching wear and tear only.

Estimated diamond weight minimum 0.60 carat (each diamond assessed as 0.05 carat based on a diamond spread gauge)

Unable to provide accurate diamond colour and clarity based on the setting. However under inspection with a 10x lens, the clarity seems to vary between stones from SI - VS. No inclusions are visible with the naked eye. The diamonds are sparkly when face up, but have a greyish-white hue. This piece would benefit from a thorough cleaning, which may be impacting the colour.
