A Victorian silver teapot, John Tapley, London 1844, of compressed ovoid shape, raised on bracket feet and with floral knop, 14.5cm high, weight 20.1ozt

Overall condition is good. Knop is loose, and requires tightening. Hinge working, but is slightly wobbly. Cover opens with ease, but does not sit completely flush. There is a moderate amount of denting to the body and cover. Spout shows moderate amount of pitting and scratching. Handle and feet are in good order. General scratching and wear consistent with age and use.

PLEASE NOTE: Knop is not original. Knop is marked 'WH', with Victorian monarch's mark and sterling mark.
