The pencil to interior is at fault, with spherical top no longer being attached to pencil (historical glue)
Hallmarks are rubbed.
Residue to the interior, would benefit from a clean.
Edges with minor dents, scratches and blemishes, commensurate with age and use.
Tarnishing and residue seen throughout.
