Overall condition is very good. No splits, major damage or signs of repair to the wirework. Some are slightly bent and dented, but largely in good order. Pierced border in good order, however there are some small areas of splitting to the border on each end (pictured). Handle is in good order, does not appear to be bent or misshapen in any way, no splitting or repair. Hinge works smoothly and is secure. The cartouche to the handle is possibly later applied. Hallmarks are clear.
