A gentleman's Rolex Chronometre Scientific 9ct gold wristwatch, circular enamel dial with Arabic numerals to central hour track, outer minute and seconds tracks, blue steeled hands (lacking central seconds hand), set to a plain polished 9ct gold case, movement detailed 'Rolex Ultra Prima' and 'Timed 6 Positions', import marks for Glasgow 1937, numbered to reverse '30197 2942', 31mm diameter, upon a brown leather strap with buckle fastening (at fault)

This watch is currently not in working order. Crown winds, but is slightly stiff. Crown pulls out to one position, hands complete a full 12 hour rotation. Dial shows hairline cracks throughout and several speckles of staining. Seconds hand is missing. Two cracks to the edge of the glass between 4 and six. Heavy scratching to the watch glass throughout. Several dents to the watch case, heavy scratching throughout, no splitting or signs of repair. Brown strap and buckle fastening appear to be later. Creasing to the strap around the buckle holes, fraying to the stitching. Heavy wear to the plating on the buckle.
