A continental silver pocket watch, the round white dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary dial to six 'o' clock, set to a plain polished case, cartouche to reverse engraved for 'A.CLARKE', lozenge mark '0800', hand wind movement, 44mm diameter (at fault), set to a silver watch chain, 38cm long, suspending a silver shield fob and an enamelled fob for the 'National Union of Railwaymen', together with a further silver watch chain, 39cm long, suspending a silver fob medallion and a later base metal lobster claw link, and a further silver watch chain, 30cm long, suspending a picture pendant on silver coloured curb-link chain, gross weight (excluding watch), 3.31ozt

Chain with picture pendant: Claw and T-bar marked silver. The picture pendant and the small length of chain that it is suspended on (the links are larger then the smaller links) is silver coloured. Weight (excluding picture pendant and chain) 12.9gms.

Chain with railway pendant: Claw and T-bar marked silver. Weight (excluding pendants) 23.9gms.

Chain with shield fob: T-bar is hallmarked, claw in note hallmarked and does not appear to be silver. Weight (excluding fob medallion and claw) 36.6gms.
