A pair of late Victorian silver mounted cut glass scent bottles by John Grinsell & Sons, Birmingham 1900, each of spherical form with geometric hobnail and polished decoration, silver collars with hinged caps embossed with floral decoration opening to reveal cut glass stoppers, each 13cm high (2)

Both bottles show small chips and nibbles to the high points and edges. One of the hinged caps shows two dents to the top polished surface, and a further pinhead dent. One of the scroll details has been worn to a hole approximately 1mm across. The other cap shows a pinhead dent and two shallow dents in close proximity. Both caps show some tarnishing.
