An early 20th century silk/yarn winder by Goodbrand & Co, Stalybridge, the hexagonal pulley wheel with turned wooden handle below the brass gauge signed with the makers name, and a chiming bell, the brass and steel mechanism mounted upon a polished walnut plinth base, applied with a makers plaque, and raised upon turned ebonised feet, 75cm high
