A George V silver tea strainer and stand, W J Myatt & Co, Birmingham 1933, the circular bowl with pierced detail, wirework handle and clip, 11.5cm long, the plain polished stand of compressed circular form, 5.7cm diameter, gross weight 1.87ozt (at fault)

There is beginning signs of splitting to some of the pierced holes. The bowl shows some light denting, moderate scratching and general wear commensurate with use. There is heavy denting to the rim, moderate scratching and wear. Possible signs of solder repair where the bowl meets the clip and handle. Clip shows moderate denting, general scratching and wear. Handle in good order, no obvious denting or bending, moderate scratching and wear. Bowl in good order, some light denting throughout, mostly concentrated to the rim. General scratching and wear throughout. Strainer sits flush on the stand. Stand wobbles very slightly on a level surface. See pictures for illustration.
