A 19th century Derbyshire Blue John urn, the polished exterior of tapered ovoid turn with turned knop, raised on a stepped polished slate base, 34cm high (at fault)

The urn shows extensive repair to the base where it meets the plinth, with extensive glue or resin residue around the tip. As a result of the repair the urn now sits slightly off centre on the plinth. There is a chip to the neck of the urn, and several filled areas to the body.
The plinth shows chips and nibbles to the corners.
