A 19th century banded agate riviere necklace, comprising twenty graduated round banded agate cabochons, measuring between 13mm and 20mm, each individually set in yellow metal closed back mounts, with a simple hook and loop fastening, 47cm long, weight 84gms

Please note: The metal in this necklace is not thought to be gold, and has not been tested.

Cabochons are in good order, some of them do show small chips. One cabochon appears to have a small worn patch on it's side, almost as if it has been polished. All show general scratching and wear consistent with use, but all have a good lustre.
