A matched George III silver serving fork and spoon, each with lion crest engraved to weighted handles, marks to fork blade for William Eley & William Fearn, London 1800, marks to handle for 'IT' (possibly Joseph Taconet) and date letter 'E', lion passant and crowned leopard marks to spoon, each approx. 27cm long, weight of pair 8.25ozt (2) (at fault)

Fork: Overall fair. Some splitting to the silver on the handle. Heavy denting, scratching and wear to the handle. Possible signs of solder repair on the reverse of the handle. Some bending to the tines. Heavy scratching and wear to the tines.

Spoon: Heavy scratching, denting and wear to the handle, moderate wear to engraving. There is some cracking and signs of possible repair around the hallmarks (as pictured). Bowl is heavily scratching and worn.
