A late Victorian silver hot water jug, marks for 'J.G' London 1899, of tapered cylindrical form with scrolling wooden handle and hinged cover, 17cm high, gross weight 13.71ozt

Overall good. Some minor denting, pitting and moderate scratching to body, spout and cover. No splitting, thinning or signs of repair. The knop to the cover is slightly bent to one side. Cover opens smoothly and closes flush, but the hinge is slightly wobbly. Jug does sit flat on a level surface.
