A George III silver swing-handled sweetmeat basket by Crispin Fuller, London 1794, of oval form on pedestal foot, with later floral decoration, 13.5cm wide, 17cm high, weight 6.12ozt
Overall good. No large dents or signs of repair. There is a small split to the side of the bowl (as pictured) which does run through to the interior - this measures approx. 6mm. The gilt to the interior is very heavily worn. All decoration is crisp. Handle is secure and moves smoothly. The basket sits flat when on a level surface. Hallmarks are clear. PLEASE NOTE: Hallmarks are on the base only, and are not located anywhere else on the piece.
