A George IV silver vinaigrette, Ledsam & Vale, Birmingham 1828, of rectangular form with floral and foliate engraved detail and vacant cartouche to cover, opening to reveal gilt interior and pierced hinged grille, 27mm x 20mm, together with a George V silver vesta case, Rolason Brothers, Birmingham 1917, 53mm x 38mm, a Victorian silver vesta case by Joseph Gloster, Birmingham 1898, 38mm x 28mm, and three further Victorian and later silver vesta cases, gross weight 3.26ozt (6)

Vinaigrette: Denting to the case, moderate scratching and wear, no splitting or signs of repair. No inscriptions. Scratching an wear to the interior commensurate with age and use. Grille in good order, closing flush. Cover in good order, closing flush.

Vesta cases: All show engraved initials to cartouches (see pictures). Two examples have covers which do not sit completely flush see pictures). All appear in good order, no splitting or signs of repair. All show some light denting and moderate scratching commensurate with age and use.
