A George III silver egg cruet by Phillip Rundell, London 1819, the rectangular stand with gadrooned borders and lion masks on four scroll capped padded feet, with leaf capped central standard, 20cm x 13.5cm x 17.5cm, the six pedestal egg cups with scrolling foliate and shell decoration borders and gilt interiors, each with engraved crest of an arm holding a dagger, 6.3cm high, gross weight 29.97ozt

Overall condition is good. No denting, pitting, thinning or splitting to any of the egg cups. Three sit flat on a level surface, three have a very slight wobble. Moderate to heavy scratching to exterior of each cup, heavy scratching to the gilt interiors. No distortion or misshaping to any cup. All marks show a degree of wear (please see pictures). Stand is in good order - dent to one side of handle where it meets the frame, some cracking to molded leaves. Feet are not completely level, stand has slight wobble when pressed down on one side. No major denting apparent, no thinning or any other areas of splitting. No signs of repair. Moderate wear and scratching to surface, concentrated around cup holders and feet.
