A late Victorian silver teapot, Chester 1899 (maker's mark worn), of inverted baluster faceted form, half-reeded body with hinged cover, ebonised knop and handle, 22cm long, weight 11.43ozt

A few small dents to the body. Heavy splitting and signs of repair to the spout. Splitting to some of the highpoints of the body. The pin connecting the body and the handle is loose, and the handle wobbles very slightly. General scratching, wear and tear to the body commensurate with age and use. Cover opens smoothly and closes flush. See pictures for illustration.
