An early 20th century diamond and ruby set snake ring, designed as two entwined snake heads, one set with a brilliant cut diamond, the other with a mixed cut ruby, continuing to a tapering unmarked gold coloured shank, ring size H ½ (at fault) together with a 9ct gold maple leaf brooch, realistically modelled with engine turned textured decoration, pin and safety loop fastening to reverse, import marks for Edinburgh 1983, 3.8cm long, together with a further 9ct gold leaf brooch, marks for Birmingham 1964, 3.3cm long, gross weight 5.2gms (3)

Ring: Good order. All stones are present, moderate abrasion and wear to the ruby, but diamond is in tact. Details to the snake heads and shank are heavily worn. Signs of repair to the shank - shank is possibly later.

Brooches are in good order. Some light scratching and wear, but no major denting, damage or repair. Pin and safety clasp in good order.
