A George IV silver soup plate, Waterhouse, Hodson & Co, Sheffield 1824, bearing the crest for the Earldom of Norbury, of circular form with shell cast and gadrooned rim, crested to the cavetto depicting a Ducal coronet below a Fleur De Lys, for Graham-Toler, and an Earl Coronet, stamped verso ‘24’, 25.5cm wide, 23.2ozt
Good order, no large dents, splits, thinning or repair. Scratching and wear throughout, concentrated in the bowl and to the reverse commensurate with age and use. Some wear to the hallmarks, particularly the maker's mark, however they are still legible.
